Hi - does anyone have any information about the Mount Herman Girls Orphange in Sevenoaks? My mum spent some time there in 1944 after her mother died. she was only there a short while before being evacuated. shortly after the children returned to the Orphanage the matron retired (or died) and they were all moved again to a children's home in Woodford. |

yes jax I had a look on there - it looks as if the Mount Herman Orphanage was in several different location over the years - but apart from a very brief mention that it moved to Sevenoaks there is no other info |
