OH and I chatting yesterday and somehow or other ended with nettles when OH asked 'didn't our dau get stung with a nettle'?

I began to laugh - many years ago she and I went blackberrying when dau suddenly decided she needed a tiddle - I told her to go in the field around the other side of the hedge - there was a house about half a mile away - they would see her! Desperation set in and the next thing I heard was a shriek - she had got stung on her bottom with a nettle, all I could do was laugh and say I am not kissing that better. By the time she had finished screeching and I finished laughing, I too needed a tiddle!!

By the way she was 21 at the time!

Sometimes you forget these things for years Chris and when you remember these magic moments, you just feel fantastic.

Your story brought back a 'blackberrying' memory too. As children we decided to go blackberrying near a creek. Mum gave us containers and told us not to eat too many and that she would bake pies with the berries we brought home. We came home with our containers full - and our tummies full. We stood there with juice all around our mouths and swearing that we hadn't eaten any :-) Mum baked a pie for our tea and one for the mother of the children who had gone with us but we were so sick that night that we couldn't eat it and couldn't face it the next day. Mum and Dad enjoyed it though :S
