I was looking at a Marguerite Patten book this morning.

Apparently the posh name for leftovers is rechauffe. So,in future, they will have rechauffe pie and pudding and think they are having something terribly posh.

That will be to the very recipe used by the Royal chef Rechauffe,hem hem!

One of the carers thinks it is all a show and I am all mouth wiping and sying 'There,there' as soon as they are gone. Yeh,I get the frozen chips out too.

My poor OH, having spent a hard day slaving over hot students or whatever he does,came home to sumpyuous repast of leftovers pie followed by a steamed sponge made with the rind left from making lemonade.

I bet his dreams are filled with McDonalds and KFC!
