I loved the show and it has inspired me to contuining serching for my Birth Mother & Family, I was Adopted in 1968 latter in 2008 I was looking a a message board I had written years before to find a lady looking for me it was my sister I have been to the USA to see her it was amazing we are still both looking for our mother and a brother we know we have so I am posting this just to say Please never give up

I searched for my birth family too.I waited until both my adoptive parents had passed away.I found through GR 2 Birth Brothers and a cousin.( my Birth Mother died in 1994).We all met at a Hotel in York for a weekend.It was brilliant.The first person I actually met was my cousin Ann at the railway station.She saw me and said" oh my,you look just like your Mother.Just wait 'till the boys see you" lol.When I met one of the Brothers ,he said"**** it's Mother .He couldn't believe how much I resembled her.It was an amazing experience.I found out where I had come from even though I have no knowledge of who my father was.I know there are a couple more siblings (but will never get to have contact with them).I am happy now I have had my curiosity answered.I will always stay in touch.
I am just glad I met them all in private (with no cameras).But I do like Long Lost Family
My Birth Brothers did not even know I existed until I contacted them.
