i'm not on as much as i was ,but ,have been a member for 5 years,do most of my work on my family tree maker now (christmas present from my children last year).

Hi Ann in Gos, i am fine, when so many old faces left the board and went elsewhere I stopped posting on the boards, i still use the the genealogy chat sometimes but not the general board apart from browsing.

this thread is reminding me now of the early years - the psychic nights which were a right laugh, the old chat board-used to wind up Keith (he was a Man U fan, no idea if he is still on Genes, don't know whether Mike or Brian are around either, Colin, Maxine, etc, all the gang that used to be on here and the Tracing my family tree forum site that Colin set up

I suppose it is more applicable now they concentrate so much on living ancestors, maybe that is what their aim was all along.

I,m still here too. Joined when it was Genes Connected as well.,
Miss lots of the old faces that havent rejoined, Met some lovely people at Maidstone & London Meets that no longer go to them either .Especially miss Auntie Jean .a lovely lady sadly no longer with us .

I was having a look though the threads not been on here for a while and i just wondered how many of the old members there are i didnt see any at all of people i knew when Genes first started are there many of us left
