Hi Victoria,
I no longer have McAfee so can't check the exact sequence but as I remember you need to go to McAfee via the link in your program and look for help, expiry date, licences or my account it will be there somewhere.
Then you may need log on with your password. A page will be displayed showing how many licences you have with an add computer button of some kind. Send your son a link to the account page and give him your password, he can then log on and add his machine to your account.

anybody out there help.
l have three licences with mcafee and my son has bought a laptop
and wonts to use one of my licences
but when he puts the disc in it finds me tells him to activate and nothing
anybody know were we are going wrong.
thanks have you ever tried to get in touch with mcafee
