I agree, the lottery system was a stupid idea. I would have thought that family and friends of the participants should have had the first call on tickets, then everyone else on a first-come first-served basis, just like most other concerts or sporting events. |

There will be an election in 2012 for Mayor of London so the newly elected Mayor, whether Boris or another will be the one who gets the freebie tickets. |

Listening to Radio 4 this morning, the bloke who does the sport, did what was suggested and bid for more events than he wanted to go to - and got tickets for all/most of them - at a cost of £11,000!!! |

Don't know of anyone who applied for tickets, but Boris isn't happy he didn't get any, and was miffed because he had to apply for them like anyone else. What makes HIM so special lol |
