Just had an e mail from a friend on here which I opened, good job my AVG is on the ball because it came up as what they called 'an attack page' this was in a red box. Anyone else had this?

Part of the subject message wa tusderechoslegales. If you see this I suggest you don't open it.

Ann has emailed me to let me know that it is me and that others have also received one supposedly from me.

I can't understand why this is so. I am using an IPad and have done so for many weeks now. There is no virus checker. I have only been in contact by email with one maybe 2 other person/people who have/ has this particular email addy.....Is it possible that they have the problem?


In fact....apart from returning Ann's email of warning........I don't email anyone

"tus derechos legales" is "your legal rights" in Spanish.

tusderechoslegales is the name of a couple of internet sites.

A google doesn't find any warning for either form, but you might want to give it a try over the next few days to see whether anything pops up.

Trouble is.....I don't know what should be sorted......The IPad is not supposed to need a virus checker......I don't have a virus......I can only assume that if I have had a forwarded email with others addies on it with one of them having a virus or link....then it could have been passed on that way....especially to those who have never had my email anyway

Well if my virus checker stopped it hopefully others will too. I have run complete scans on my pc and there is no problem Susan so I'd leave it and hope it has disappeared. As you say it is probably somebody else who had the problem but picked up your e mail address to use (I never understand how this works!). thanks Janey for that.

In some cases, third parties can add malicious code to legitimate sites, which would cause us to show the warning message.

I have looked at the returned email from the mailer ......It has names on there that are not in my address book but I have seen them on Facebook in the friends of others.

It seems weird to me that my Oh hasn't received one, or my children. I would have thought that my other email addy would have received one too.....I will delete you from my address book and send you another email addy
