it crossed my mind too.If someone has had to flee from an abusive relationship for example,then they definitely wouldn't want to be tracked down. |

I too think it is huge invasion of privacy. Even though the information is in the public domain, it is one thing to find it for oneself and quite another to have it served up to you on a plate. |

I don't see how anyone can every know if someone's motives are genuine when you can only read what they want, and you don't know them personally.. |

Just a thought, but how does one know if a person posting a request to find a living relative is a genuine relative, or indeed if the other person wants to be found. I personally would not like someone phoning me out of the blue, or be given my address without my permission. |
