As the search for my father is closing in my thoughts are turning to the final approach. I may be getting a relatives information very soon and feel I should go and talk to them first in person(an uncle of my father). |

If your great uncle will act as a go between that would be the best approach however you need to tread carefully. I would say it would be better to write a letter which your great uncle could hand to him on your behalf or be sent if he doesn't wish to act on your behalf. That way you will have a chance to gather your thoughts and also your father can read it as many times as he wishes. You will also need to give your father time to come to terms with being found. |
