This morning Nana went off to potter in her greenhouse for some peace and quiet.

After five minutes he was marching round the house asking "Where's Nana, where's Nana?" I said to him "She has had enough of little boys and has left home.....!"

"Don't be silly Grandad, she couldn't have done that" "Why not?" said I. "You know as well as I do that she can't drive", came the answer.

I helped out at one of the local Play School's this week.
When i arrived, a little girl came flying across the room, squeezed my leg and said "I am really, really happy you have come today"

"Oh, that's lovely" i said..........giving her a squeeze back in return.

"Yes" she said "Because you are really, really silly!"

Huh! I made sure she got the broken biscuit at snack time!!

Bless!

Our 4 yo grandson is staying with us this weekend whilst his mum is off to Manchester to see Take That for her birthday treat.

This morning, looking very thoughtful he said

"Grandad, did you know my mummy is getting far too old, these days?". "Why would that be?" I asked. He thought for a second then replied "Because she keeps having too many birthdays....!"
