can anybody shed some light? i have discovered that i have been registered x2 times one entry directly above the other with a code has anybody ever found this?

Depends what the code is.........it could be an amendment to the original, name not spelt correctly for example?

its just been entered twice,,as Mary put,,,,,a number are and this is just often down to the GRO indexing -a missed entry ,a late local register getting to them,,,,,,,,,or a tired staff indexer. :-) :-)

the spellings on both entries are correct!! someone suggested it may be possible adoption, but i know i want adopted!
