We've just had a look at the eclipse. As Cooper and others have said it is very cloudy, but the clouds cleared for a little while and it was possible to see the moon. Very red indeed.

Sky watchers in the UK will only be able to catch the end of the dramatic event as the first lunar eclipse since 2000 will begin 'before moonrise', according to Nasa.

UK skygazers will see a blood red Moon this evening thanks to a lunar eclipse (PA)
The eclipse will start at 6.24pm (BST), but sunset in the UK will not occur until 9.19pm.

People in eastern Africa, the Middle East, central Asia and Western Australia will be able to enjoy the entire event, while those in the US will miss out as the eclipse will occur during daylight hours.

The phenomenal site of a lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth, Sun and Moon align and the Earth's shadow moves across the surface of the full Moon

Pleased to see you back, E of s. Yes, apparently there's going to be a red moon tonight, about 9 pm I believe. However, it's drizzling and looking very murky outside where I live, so we probably won't be able to see it. Shame, even though I find it a rather scary sight. x

Dear All

Hello

Hope you are okay.

This month's full moon is in the astrological sign of Sagittarius this evening at 8.14pm.

There is some restlessness but be careful not to rush into a new project or venture just for the sake of change.

Communication is well favoured. Try and contact people you have been meaning to.

Planning for a holiday or thinking about enrolling for a college course is promising too.

Later this evening there will be a total lunar eclipse.

Take gentle care all
Very best wishes
xx
