I've used the ones where you don't need to use soap powder but I do find that to whiten shirts and smalls I need to wash with detergent approximately 1 in 6 washes.

Well its hard to have a conversation about balls without someone getting a bit rude !

I'm supposing it's the next nearest thing to beating the laundry on a stone by the river !
The blurb says to charge them up in sunshine to activate the pellets inside , and even no powder needed, thats got to save some money ?

Now I'm a highly sensitive [allergy wise] so I'm hoping it will reduce all the itchy scratchys and be better without detergent?
This is going to be fun !

:-D :-D :-D

My washing machine has a set of the ones that roll about in the washing to knock the dirt out I suppose. Then there is the one to attract the limescale.

Although I do use a capsule for dirty stuff I have one of those you use instead of powder. That seems to work alright, none of us stinks much but I do the shirts with a capsule from time to time just to ensure all the sweat is out of them.

Then there are the two balls in the tumble dryer which turn up all over the place when I am putting the clothes away.

I did see a set of balls you can use to pick up any lint in the machine but I really do need a bit of room to put the washing in.

It is part of the old man's routine to count the balls in and out and have us searching.

Oh yes, there is a small pair of balls that came in a net bag from a cheap shop for doing your smalls. You get what you paid for and I certainly did there. The bag lasted two washes but the balls are still well sturdy.
