Well not then as both mum and dad were wee tots BUT for the Coronation for our present monarch well I was just at work then and myself and several other girls camped out overnight to see the procession. I was trying to see too if I could identify my elder bros who was in the Air Force and was "volunteered" because he was the right height to be in the Air Force contingency that was part of the procession. Didn't see him of course cos all the lad looked the same in their uniforms |

My late husband was picked to be a Queens Scout for the Coronation of our present Queen, it was beween him and his best friend and Pats name was pulled out of the hat, Brian had a very smug smily on his face when Pat got home scoaking wet. |
