I was looking forward to watching that tonight, scheduled at 9 p.m. on BBC2.

It seems as though it has been cancelled because of blasted Wimbledon

Everything stops for sport.
I understand that lots of viewers want to watch, but by the same token, lots of people want to watch the scheduled programme.
No hope while the Olympics are on then!!!

Maybe we will have an "Old Grumps" special channel for the time of the Olympics.

A collaboration by the various channels to bring us old grumps some quality programes that we want to watch.

On the other hand, pigs might fly!

I was b....y furious I am sick of wall to wall sport. I can enjoy the odd game but everything goes for tennis, snooker, footie etc and sod we normal folk. I had had a hard day at work and was looking forward to a bit of tv after my evening meal no chance, why don't the tv especially the BBC have a channel specifically for sport and what is the use of buying a tele paper GRRRRRRRR! Elaine. :-( PS I pay my liscence fee too.

But no, clearly the BBC believes that its licence payers would rather watch two people hit a ball back and forth... for hours on end.

Now some sports I like but NOT to the extent that good programmes are cancelled.

I did watch the very long F1 grand prix and enjoyed it but wall to wall tennis is taking the michael :-(
