Kay, thought the more you had in it the better it worked, perhaps i'm wrong. not sure about insurance, have to look into that at a later date, will have to go out in the morning & try & get a new one off the shelf, trouble is not many places have stock actually for sale to take away.

Are you sure Kay isn't right, maybe you put too much fresh stuff in at once. Do you have neighbours who can help with taking some of the frozen stuff?

No Clair the fuse is ok as the light works, no neighbours, one side's in spain & the other side are ???????

i will allways remember last winter,in a matter of 5days, my washing machine,hoover,central heating and the power shower all packed in.but i was lucky to have insurance for the washing machine and central heating,but it was wks before they were fixed.x :-D

well they do say that if your freezer has a lot of empty space you should fill it up with newspaper, so I donlt think overfilling is a problem
