hello everyone,does anybody know what a SIGNAL MASTER was late 1900 he allways seemed to to be living around the coast all his working life. |

I googled it and up came a reference to the postmaster and signal man - could a signal have been a telegram? Lighthouse keeper? |

I would think it was the man in charge of the signalling with flags between ships, they were still used in the early 1900s |
