No, wash your mouth out, I don't mean a certain person on this site. Talking about the school certificate or its equivalent.

Two young men were on the tee this morning and they said they were on holiday, awaiting exam results. I told them I was waiting for mine in 1949.

Did 1949 ever exist? I suddenly felt very old. That year was the last for the old school certificate. Does anyone have anything older than that, or even near.

Should you wish to lower the tone, talk about the second meaning of the heading.
