our garage :-( and we have a pond for a road outside, Dan's out in his wellies taking photo's for when i go to the council about it!

but, I'm not grumbling, because it's cooooool !

Oh no, Rose!!!
Do you think, perchance, that 'due to cuts' the council haven't bothered clearing ditches/drains? - well not in any road where councillors don't live, anyway!!

We live at the bottom of a hill on the estate and the bottom part ( an unmade road with lots of potholes) leads directly to us and next door on each side , there are a couple of soak away drains which are useless. It's stopped raining now, and our front step is a little higher fortunately so I think the house itself is safe. Touch wood!


I said there would be 'a third thing' earlier today lol...trouble coming in 3s...yesterday the washing machine leaked over the floor and has a broken connection; the flat roof over the porch is leaking where it joins the house ( a few days back), and now this.

i am getting a dab hand with the DIY
we have only had a few drops of rain
but nothing much really


Benson my dog is asleep on the patio
and hasnt noticed the rain yet

Take it easy with the decorating if it is hot there, drink lots :-D

i am taking my time Rose and drinking loads
tea that is lol

i have the rest of my life to finish it so no rush
only the stairs to finish and the main bedroom
then the fire to put in the front room
and i am done
its been
a long job but i can see an end to it all now

lets hope your council will sort the flood soon
