ROFL...binman caught

We had our refuse collection this morning. I had my side kitchen door open and saw one of the binmen by our long wall not moving. I moved towards the door and saw him picking our wild strawberries.

I called out "stop pinching my strawberries" he couldn't see where my voice was coming from... :-D his face was an absolute picture.

I did step outside then to tell him I forgave him and we had a chat about the strawberries. He said "they just looked so tempting"....obviously.

So if we have a load of empty stalks I'll know who to blame :-)

OH My Gord!!

I had a fright there.
I thought you were going to say that you had caught the binman putting the bins back all nice n tidy, instead of strewn around the street!!

lol Bob, we don't have bins, well only the small green food waste jobbies (new last week) and only 3 out of 8 houses, including us, put those out.

Your binmen come inside the gate????
I have to lug mine up 5 steps!!!
The binmen would be welcome to my strawberries (alpine, growing as ground cover in a perennial border), if they came in to the garden and dragged the bin up the steps for me :-D
