Anyone else watch this? What an experience to be singing amongst all those people.

Hello Anninglos, I watched it with interest as my hubby is a Winchester taxi driver and he drove some of the choir to Wembley. He has now become a huge fan having listened to their singing on the journey and they actually popped round the other day with a CD as a thank you gift. He often listens to it now when working.

What a great programme and a wonderful hobby for many people to take up. I cannot sing for toffee but would love to join this choir. Looks like they all had a fabulous time.

I didn't notice but did it say if they were all going to continue in their choirs. A lot of them got so much more out of it than just singing, thinking of the widower and the blind man in particular, and the young girl with the heart problem.

Hi Anninglos,

I think they are going to continue with the choir. The widower is the fella who turned up on my doorstep with the CD for my hubby. Lovely man, seems to have turned his life around, having sadly lost his wife.

Such a great idea, well done to Caroline the founder. Looks like she has her sights set on Wembley Stadium next, so who knows.

Have a great day!

Was it the last one yesterday?

We have been following this and as M can sing, I can't, he loves it.

We were already to watch it last night when some Canarian friends arrived at 10 to 9 and stayed to 10 past 10!!!!!! If they had been English they would probably have watched it with us but unfortunately I felt obliged to turn it off.

Wendy, yes it was the last one when they sang at Wembley.

Lainey. Oh that was lovely of him. He certainly seemed to fins a zest for living again after joining the choir. He was a lovely chap I thought. I am so pleased for them that they are going to continue.

I loved the thought of that train full of choirs travelling to Wembley.

I joined a local choir last year that had newly formed. We sing all sorts from West End musicals to Take That and even Cee Lo Green. It is the most fun I have had in years. No auditions, just turn up, join in if you feel like it. We have a Mum and daughter pair of singing teachers and I just love going!

Apparently it was "The Last Choir Standing" that started my group.

We are singing in a festival this weekend, we are not brilliant but are much improved and will just have a great time!
