Vera's posting made me think again, I was talking about an ioniser. However I used to many years ago again have a Remington purifier which cleared a room of smoke and was very efficient. Then the filters became hard to get and I stopped smoking! |

Had one when I smoked. Worked very well but that was at least 8 years ago and it was very large. Had to get rid of it recently after being in storage for years as I could no longer get the filters. |

Some 20 years ago I bought one and had it on bedtable. Did not notice any difference apart from when I moved the table the wall behind it was black. So it was filtering but straight on the wall! |

They supposed to work for allergies & asthma. Just wondered if anyone has used one and if one is worth getting as some are quite expensive. |
