Ancestry has so many different pages that there is no such thing as a single home page. A lot depends on which address you use to log in with, what your previous preferences have been and whether you have cleared cookies out recently.

I keep a number of Ancestry urls in my bookmarks / favourites which get me directly to different pages. So for example if I want to search the census I use http://search.ancestry.co.uk/group/ukicen/UK_Census_Collection.aspx

or for BMD's http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx

What is the url you are using and what would you like to see when you log in?
