Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 208 Send Message	I was hoping to get some help to get some respite care, plus some help with personal care, maybe twice a week. Not sure if these items are covered under Direct Payments. Would like to know if they are before I contact the local council.

	I think the money can be used to buy whatever service you require from whoever will provide it. But do check your local rules.
