Mirena coil

Has any one on here had the mirena coil fitted and found they put on weight?

Have had a Mirena fitted for several years and not had any change in weight.

I have had one for several years. I have put on weight over the past couple of years but never thought it was cos of the coli. At 52 I expect to get a bit fatter.

I had the same coil for 5 years and it didn't make any difference to my weight. I was already overweight. lol

I had no problems with this coil and wish I'd kept it, they just need to find a less painful way of fitting! lol

It's not the fitting that hurt me it was the removal !! Second one went in no problem
