I'd like to know this too. Some extremely distant relative keeps adding stuff and I really don't want it!!! |

I also would like to delete some part of my ancestry tree, I have a lot of false info on there from people who contacted me claiming to be related when they are not any where near to being related. |

SpanishEyes, I have the same problem. Also I haven't updated it for so long it would just be easier to start from scratch than have to delete so much. |

Do you mean delete all of your own tree? As far as iknow you cannot delete part of your tree other than by editing each individual |

in stead of deleting your tree why not just set it to privet setting |

I would caution against deleting your tree. If you feel y ou must remove it entirely from Ancestry why not first Gedcom it from Ancestry to family history program which sits on your desktop. There are free versions available. With it saved to your computer and not on line no one will be able to have access to it. If in the future you wish to restore it to Ancestry you will only need to Gedcom it back again. |
