I don't have one myself but I bought my son and daughter-in-law one each for Christmas. They love books but as Rob says storage is always a problem. They also read most when they are on holiday and usually take about 10 books between them (which is a bit of a problem when packing). The Kindle means they can have as many books with them as they wish. |

I have one and also love books. I use both, mostly books when at home but the Kindle when away/travelling. It is great. I also like the way it is instant. If I want a book and it is available on Kindle, within a couple of minutes it has downloaded. |

Never even seen one, but I have read about them. Not for me though, I like to go to the charity shop at the weekend when I go to the market, I take in what I bought last week and pick up a "new" second hand book at the same time. But they sound like a good idea for holidays. Do they reference books on line as she will be going on holiday soon and she could then down load all of her study work |

My problem is that I do most of my reading when on holiday by the pool. Books often get very soggy and wet and I doubt a Kindle would stand up to that. |

I have an iPad and I can download booked very easily, some are free and others are a very small price. If I have really enjoyed the books I sometimes buy it and give hints to my six children and two eldest grandchildren. |
