It's nice to know they care!! :-) :-)

My doctor is semi retired, and patients were asked if they'd like to be seen by his potential replacement - a young chap.
I chose his replacement, as I used to feel guilty when going to see the elder- quite often he was stood at a lectern, unable to sit down as his back was so bad :-S

Nomatter how miserable I feel when I go in to see my 'young' doctor, I always leave with a smile.
On one visit, while talking to him, he just kept taking my blood pressure( I have 'white coat' syndrome when it comes to blood pressure)
Eventually my fingers went numb, and I asked why he was doing what he was doing.
'It's amazing how your blood pressure changes minute by minute' was his reply!! 'Every one was different! - not seen such a change in anyone else yet!'

I presume he was doing the same to all his patients

just had a phone call from gp asking if I feel any better? She saw me end of May with a chest infection, it was her day off on Friday and a locum came in her place and was concerned I had had another one.

It is good to know we are faces not a prescription pad!
