Hope I'm on correct board with this question, I've just been checking census info 1911 on Ancestry and message came up access blocked please type in a number in box anybody else have this problem or is it a scam.

I've emailed them but could be days before i get answer.

I've logged out completely and re booted comp. but still same.

Thanks for all replies and apologies if on wrong board.

Just rung that number and it's a refrigeration company it seems their no as been put out on ancestry info sheets in error.

Just going to try another 0800 404 9723.

Thank you for answering above query, phoned and they said it is A OK, very rarely used security system.

Hi ForeverMystified.
When 1911 census came out I went mad looking at all the different people census.
I got blocked and didn't know how to get out of it. I thought it was a virus or scam.
Phoned Ancestry and the very nice people there told me that it was to make sure it was for personal or if it was business-machines.
I just typed in the code and hey presto back to normal. :-)
