have a neighbour that reminds you of other things...

I have a neighbour now back for summer who constantly calls Toby Aqui but he really sounds like Antony Quinn in Zorba the Greek

Shame he don't look like him, :-D


Toby is their dog, by he way who constantly escapes because they leave the gate open Aqui means here ...and Toby aqui (as we call him) still trots off on his rounds ... :-)

Once had to visit a bingo hall where the caller sounded like Murray Walker..

lol Sharron ..I wish mine was only once ....but I have to admit hearing Tobi Aqui in that gravel voice is wonderful, aslong as I don't have to look outside !!! especially in the morning when he is still wearing just Y fronts ...don't go there trust me it is not a pretty site :-\

I am very much into the Irish accent. OH had mucked up his tax returns yet again and it ended up being processed by a tax office somewhere near the Giants Causeway.

I used to use the phone like a chat-line.Every time the guy from the tax office rang up I kept him talking.No idea what he was going on about,couldn't be more dull, but boy did I enjoy those calls!

Well we used to have a neighbour who looked like Capt Mainwaring of Dad's Army.

That holiday in The Gambia was dreadful but I needed a dr and ohhhhhhhhhhhh - there he was at 3.00 a.m. in the morning sitting on the side of my bed, holding my wrist and saying Mrs......your pulse she is very weak (sick and all as I was there was me thinking it is a wonder it is not out of the roof) he was an Omar Sharrif lookalike when he was in his forties!

He looked after me very well and on the plane home, shame I was ill and had OH and friend with me!!! ooooooooooooooooh

I saw Omar Sharif being interviewed for a documentary or something, so sad that he now looks like the old man he is, and has really lost his wonderful looks!

Thank goodness our building work will soon be finished and we can move into our 'new' lounge where I can't hear her.

My neighbour looks exactly like the 118 BT men from the advert, he has a moustache and hair identical
