report on the news this morning about an American woman giving birth to a 16 LBS baby , that is some size even for a forced delivery ,but a footnote said that in the 1860s ,one lady in Idaho had one that weighed 26 odd pounds ,ouch . |

I WAS going to add the old ,saying too ,EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas ,but i thought that ,a little unkind .i will have to have a look and find out if there is an official record for the 1800s birth.Fred. |

Yes ,it seems that women with a certain type of Diabeties are more prone to this type of heavy babies ,so watch your sugar intake girls he he .Fred. |
