report on the news this morning about an American woman giving birth to a 16 LBS baby , that is some size even for a forced delivery ,but a footnote said that in the 1860s ,one lady in Idaho had one that weighed 26 odd pounds ,ouch .
The second woman had a 6 foot four husband ,who i bet if she survived ,never got her pregnant again. he he.
Joking aside there must be a better way for a woman to live ,apart from being born a male ,Fred. :-0

I WAS going to add the old ,saying too ,EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas ,but i thought that ,a little unkind .i will have to have a look and find out if there is an official record for the 1800s birth.Fred.

The Guinness Book of World Records states the world's heaviest baby was born to Anna Bates of Canada in 1879. The baby weighed 23.12 lbs and died eleven hours after birth.

The largest baby to ever survive was an Italian boy who weighed 22 pounds 8 oz at birth

If I gave birth to a baby now Fred (heavy or not) I'd certainly be in the Guinness book of records ;-).
