I have had one for a couple of years now....very handy.....Imagine my horror when leaning over the boat, watching it float down to the bottom.....We were moored so I knew exactly where it should be....

.OH went home to find a net, by the time he got back I had nearly given up...I mean, it surely wouldn't work. The net was too short but another boater had a fishing net and scraped the bottom with it a few times. After dredging up quite a few fresh water mussels ( and they are not cheap I will have you know ) He at last found my camera.

I knew there wasn't a hope in hell of it working but couldn't bring myself to leave it there. It had been at the bottom of the river for well over an hour.

I took it home, wiped it, left it in my car to dry off in the hot sun......plugged it into my pc....and blow me down it worked ....I managed to transfer all the videos and the next day was able to continue using it as normal.........

Not sure Joy....this one is fairly new. It is about the size of a mobile phone

Thank you Amanda....I am a bit surprised to say the least.

I have just looked them up on google only to find they are now going out of business.....shame that.
