Tying down a mattress

Earlier this year I bought new beds for the g.son's room, but the bases are metal.
One of the beds has to be placed with the bottom going over the radiator.
This means the actual base can't go flat against the wall, which in turn, makes the mattress slip off lol

Any bright ideas how I can tie the mattress down without having to sew tapes on. I'm sure there is something that can be bought but can't think what and where.
I have tried Google but no luck.

Off now til Mon so I'm not ignoring your replies.

Thanks

Double sided tape in each corner or just fold over the tape? :-D

Can't quite picture this scene????

Would that sort of rubbery mesh stuff that you put under rugs stop the mattress from slipping?

You can buy Velcro by the metre..........so perhaps three lengths that you can wrap under the bed and up and over the mattress, one each end and one in the middle, might be an easy solution.

How about trying some of those long plastic cable ties to run through the handles on your mattress then through the metal base to secure.

A great idea Frank if the mattress has handles. And a cheap way of doing it too! :-)

Great tips. Been away for a few days so apologise for the delay.

Hey Frank, brill idea. The mattresses do have handles, and I do have cable ties. That's what I'm going to do.
