AND A THOUSAND PLUS WALKING BEHIND,THEN MORE HORSES PULLING CARRAGES FULL OF FLOWERS
IT WAS SO HOT THE MEN HAD THERE SHIRT SLEEEVE ROLLED UP.THEY HAD ABOUT A MILE PLUS TO WALK TO THE CHURCH ALL THE ROADS CLOSE AS THEY WALKED PASS
THEN THEY HAVE THE WALK BACK TO THE CEMATARY,
THE PARK BEHIND ME IS FULL OF HORSE BOXES.

Were they travellers?

One of our neighbours was a gypsy who showed shire horses. He actually died in the show ring.

They decided to walk his horse at the front of the courtege to the church. The undertaker decided to walk with them.

Well, the guy who died had mighty long legs, as did his grandson who walked the horse, but the undertaker did not.

I know you should not laugh at a fueral but, as it went past, the horse was going like the clappers with the grandson pacing alongside it and the undertaker was trying to keep up, for a mile and a half to the church.

I bet Sam was somewhere laughing.
