Hi jgee,

It means nothing at the moment but I will look it up on my map.

Is it likely to cut out some of the delays??

Thanks,

Thank you Jenny - I will just have to take a chance then.

Hope it is better than the last time - luckily 'little grand-daughter' fell asleep as it was SO hot, and she woke up just as we arrived !!

Fingers crosssed then,

Many thanks,

Dea, there is a new T*sco being built and a new Island and still nowhere near finished. A few weeks ago a few roads around the BCM and the Burnt Tree Island were closed off. But these have been re opened now, so traffic is not quiet as bad.

Daughter says to try and avoid early mornings and teatimes.

Many thanks for your reply Jenny,

I came off the A4123 onto the Birmingham Road (I think), , then onto Tipton Road.

I would very much appreciate knowing if that roundabout has been finished and the traffic problem has settled down.

Many thanks,

Hi Dea, do you mean the Black Country Museum? Well that's what I have always known it as.

I used to live fairly near so often travelled on that stretch of road. It is always very busy and especially worse during the rush hour.

There is only one entrance. Did you come along the Birmingham New Road?

I will just phone my Daughter who lives in the area, and ask her if the roundabout is finished.

Hi all,

Does anyone know about this place please?

I visited it with my grand-daughter several weeks ago - we travelled up from Leicestershire.

I hour's travel, but when we got about 5 minutes away, it took us more than an hour to travelthe rest of the way!!

There was a BIG new roundabout being built, plus an accident (I think), but, all in all, it cost us another hour.!

If there is anyone there with local knowledge, we are visiting again on Monday and would appreciate any info about a possible other way in, or, if the roadworks have finished???

We came up theM6 and then the M5, I believe and came off at junction 2

Is there a better way ???

Thanks,

Dea Xxx
