Thank you all.

This information allows me to place two (and possibly more) of my ancestors. It's a great help.

I need help with an ancestor's birthplace, please.

She stated on her marriage certificate that she was born in Steeple, Essex.

I've found three people with the same name born around the same time.

Orsett
Ongar
Chelmsford.

I don't know Essex at all so which of these registration districts would Steeple be in?
