I’m used to the concept of new men, stories of footballers getting in touch with their feminine side by sharing undies with the wife and coppers who look younger than boy scouts giving a long speech to criminals instead of just “you’re nicked”.

Today when I offered the workman a cuppa he asked if I had any Earl Gray! Builder’s tea, the last bastion that made Britain great has fallen!

Have to move with the times I guess.

Next time I have the builders in, instead of making sure I have a good supply of biscuits, I will have to lay in a selection of herbal, decaf and lapsang souchong teas! ;-)
