My nephew's partner gave birth to little boy just past 9pm.
He is 4 weeks early, but weighs a healthy 6lb 1/2 ozs.

I can't wait to speak to his 4 year old sister - she is soooo dismisive of boys :-S
She adores my 9 year old grand daughter, and is 9 months older than my elder grandson.

On our family holiday last year, my grandson could speak (which he didn't do the previous year, though great niece could)
On hearing him ask for something, great niece said
'Oh, so it can speak now can it'?
That one comment said soooooo much!!!
They do get on quite well - honest - and I'm sure she's not as bad as she sounds :-0

Congratulations on the new arrival! I love the things children say, usually with complete honesty!

New babe is called Reuben.
I'm off down their way tomorow for daughter's graduation - will have to pop in :-)
My sister (Reuben's grandma) was looking after his 4 year old sister yesterday.
When asked how many stories she wanted before sleeping, she replied '4 - because other grandma only reads me 3' (she's sharp this one!!) ;-)
