it was "restoration home" not restoration lol and it was Tuesday evening NOT Monday it was episode 4 so I now have 3 to catch up on lol will post the link in case anyone is interested x

Hi Rose, not exactly a fh programme but I watched "Restoration" on channel 2 at 8pm I think it was monday. A couple had bought a Hall which used to be the centre of villiage life and were going to restore it. In the background a team of researchers researched the houses history and the families that lived there as well as the designers and architects. Carol Quentin was the presenter and well worth a viewing. I think Nick Knowles used to present it before x

Rita it was my mum's old friend that heard the name 'Fishlock' which was my maternal grandmother's name so she recognised it straightaway, wish she'd phoned me then lol.

friend has just mentioned watching one this week or last ( not Heir Hunters) and someone was searching one of my family names which she recognised...but unfortunately she can't tell me what the programme was...may have been on freeview channel 10, 11, 12?

Any ideas please? :-)

PS was on in the evening...8 ish?
