In the last three days I have lost 3 things.

Lead to camera.

Address book.

Sewing Box.

I have searched every room and cannot find them. OK the lead and book could be hiding, but the sewing box???

I once thought I had lost the usb lead to my camera. My daughter went on line to see if I could order a new cable as I could only find the lead for recharging the camera. She came back into the room and pulled the usb out of the three pin plug, it was there all the time but I didn't realise that the plug and the usb were on the same cable. Could that have happened with yours? -j

HI Janet, I have checked every socket in the house. It is my sewing box that is baffling me. I am not an avid sewer, but it is the size of a shoe box and it has simply vanished.

I really must be getting old. Lol.

Jenny not old but may be having a senior moment, but my Husband and I (both in our 50s) have found things in odd places, spanners in bread tin etc, so have you looked in the shoe rack or other similar size places.

Did you put the sewing box away with a mended garment?

Somewhere in this house are my birth and marriage certificates.
They're not in my file of other people's certs either..........

Eventually found my passport which was missing (together with those for OH and adult daughter ) for over a year after a day-trip to France.
He says I must have moved them...........

And I still have not found my camera tripod which I started looking for in June.

When I lose something I always sit down with a cup of tea and think about how I feel. If I am in a desperate panic then t is gne for good. If I'm not too worried it will turn up. This philosophy hasn't failed me before. Although I am still looking for the winning lottery ticket....
