there we were sat at emergency drs and as you do I was looking around reading signs while trying to keep up with F1 (cos Im a nice wifey and took him up instead of watching it) that was playing in A&E over the way. Sign up about out of hours service and it said if you have any of the following contact reception first one on list was ......................loss of conciousness did make us smile
and still wondering how to do it if you are unconcious

I hate it where you see a sign saying..." waiting time 4 hours, or 3 hours" Its as if the A&E department is proud that they make people wait, they should feel ashamed that they put signs up like that.

Probably better than not knowing George. At least you can get into your book, have a cup of coffee, buy something from the red cross shop and If your lucky you won't have missed your call.

I think however, its a secret way of getting rid of those who should have gone to their GP weeks ago.

A year or so ago, my sister was taken ill and required emergency (ambulance) admission via A&E. We arrived at the hospital at approx 04.20am - not another soul about - and still the sign in A&E said that there would be a 3 - 4 hours wait - obviously it is never changed.
