I openly own up to fact that I dress mine in winter coats, Mini has Minx's old snoopy wax and Minx has a snoopy leather flying jacket. Mini who feels the cold also has what I call her dressing gown for cold walks ..Minx has a polo collar if she needs ...
I would also buy them boots if their paws needed it ..Mini is finding the hot pavements a trial. I will buy sun hats and even doggie sunglasses if they needed ....

What I won't be buying is a bleddy bikini for either of my mutts ..now I love them but even if I had millions I would not dress the poor sods up !

I saw that Uzzi. Some people have more money than sense. I think it is degrading for the poor dogs.

Ann I couldn't believe it either ...and one photo had the bikini top the wrong way round "tuts"
I take stick because of my winter coats with people saying they are just dogs. but I know they are needed (okay not snoopy flying jackets but that was the only one that fitted :-D )
I do know a dog who has shades and boots but it is pure health bless him he doesn't have the pads for gravel and his eyesight isn't good in the sun.

Then there was the one who has to have boots because he's allergic to grass. ....

but bikinis !!! ll

What about the ‘morons’ who paraded their pets at our local Folk Festival today in very high temperatures without any visible sign of water being carried? High class sunglasses or such like are of little value to any animal suffering from dehydration.

As well as that, I saw some babies in prams with no consideration of the sun blaring in their eyes. The parents looked pretty well covered up though.

Grrrr!! Great festival otherwise!

Dermot I know where you are coming from I see dogs all the time in heat ..I always carry water and bowls in the car ...well nearly always.
I took mine on a 8k hike a few days ..no water no bowls

lol

I took them at 7am along the beach stopped for coffee and water then got them home before it was too hot !

knackered they and me may have been bu it was good
