is there a way i can check on the census to find out who lived in my house before me?? i am sure i have a ghost... i am a little curious....it could be my imagination......but the curiosity box is open an di would love search deeper. |

I found out who lived in my house before me at the local town hall, also if it is a house which has always been a private home then you maybe able to find out who lived there from the time it was built. I now have a complete up to date history.of my home in Frinton on sea Essex. |

It depends on how old your house is. You can only see the 1911 census & earlier. You would have to go to your local library to see the Electoral Registers & Street Directories to see who lived in your house. A search of local newspapers might help too. |
