I spoke to Grampa Jim's daughter yesterday about the funeral, and she has asked me to post the details, as ALL are welcome:-

Jims funeral is 5 Oct @ the Sustainability Centre, East Meon @ 2:30. He will be at the co-op funeral home on Stoke Road Gosport until 12:30. Please be aware it is a woodland burial, so dress appropriatly especially footwear.... Any floweres must be without plastic or oasis due to burial site. though he did express a desire for any money not to be wasted on flowers that he will never get to see or smell, rather any money to be made in a donation. That way it can be put to good use. The funeral home will be making collections for his chosen charities.

His daughter did sound as nice as Jim, she has been going through his phone book trying to contact everyone, it is not an easy job for her, but she is taking comfort in the good folk are relaying to her about her dad.
