Are both the trees in an offline programme on your home computer? If so, what Tree programme are you using? Some one with knowledge of that particular one may be able to advise how to merge. You could then upload as a gedcom. It would over-write anything already there.

Have you thought of getting a free membership for this site? You could then give yourself permission to view the free one, and copy over each person from that tree to the paying one, using the clipboard function. Mind you, it may not be easy with 2 sets of parents!

As you may have gathered, GR are rolling out a new version of the tree programme, which is causing some people problems. Before making major changes on here, it may be best to wait until things have settled down in (hopefully) a couple of weeks.

As my father was adopted I have two family trees but only one subscription. Is there any way I can transfer all the names from one tree over to the other.
