Ladies I have been lying in a darkened room since Eurovision, fanning myself with a wet lettuce leaf.

I am pondering and fretting. The more I ponder, the more I fret.

I am totally confused.

Someone help!

Cooper Report 14 May 2014 10:27

Auntie dear,

I have been a pondering all week, it is of a rather delicate nature.........

As you know Ladies do spend a lot of time, money and pain in getting rid of hair which should not be on show. The poor gal who won asongsforeurope/wellweloveourneighbourseveniftheysinglikeawailingcat contest, well Auntie, did you notice the poor gal had forgot to get rid of some unwanted "wispers" facial hair :-S :-S :-S

if you had been there with dear Graham, Ken etc you would have taken her aside to have a quaite and descrete word before she performed.

Tuttyttutut and more tuts.

it just shows that Mr Norton does not realise that a gal has to do things "in the best possible taste"

Orf to continue with the unpaid housework toil.

yours, very confused

Dear Gels, I am SO pleased that we are like Georgianna's bloomers. Harvest Festivals her dear husband calls them 'All Is Safely Gathered In'!

We are back to full numbers now dears, and we have VERY important things to arrange off-line! Slowly, very slowly, all is coming together. Hurrah!

Still no word from Beattie and Millie, I think that chapter is now closed. How very sad. The Captain is devastated.

Pat-trish-aaaaah has decided to stay a little longer, and spend time with her Spanish Cousins. Mrs Berry and dear little Cherry are beavering away downstairs, as we have visitors later in the week, and all is right with the world.

I do hope you had a lovely weekend dear Susan. I trust your massage was not as 'exciting' as mine. I dont think I could have stood more than another moment being pummelled by a half-naked man, I definitely had a touch of the vapours!

Tis tipping it down here. My dear little flower boxes are looking decidedly limp!

I hope one and all are well, and dry. My felicitations to you all.

Hello Ladies,

Lesley, I had a wonderful weekend away. No work is always a bonus... Retail therapy another, nice luncheons also most welcome.

My spa was divine. I was lucky enough to be treated by a dear little Japanese girl. How she has the strength to pummel all and sundry I do not know. She is but a slip of a girl..... She had a wicked sense of humour too :-D.
We tripped the light fantastic on Saturday evening, why my over indulgences virtually disappeared in front of my very eyes. :-D.

That said, I have been partaking in 'morning teas' this week and I shouldn't have :-(.

I am stuck here at work later than I would like to be today . I have a feeling our dinner is going to be a tad on the late side this evening...

I did forward you all a pm this morning..

#tuts and clucks and hoists thread back to its rightful position#

Tutty tut, Ladies, we are slacking are we not?

I am sorry for the doggie dear Susan. Trickey herself is a little poorly now and again, and I fear for her mortality. Please send your Mama my best regards.

Teresa dear, afraid of P and P? I was more in fear of The Beakles! I do believe there is an exhibition at the V & A, but I will not visit as it will only depress me.

Pat-trish-aaaaah is in Spain dears. Did I not say? What with all the performance with Millie and Beattie, I may has missed telling you.

She is visiting her Papa and cousins. As you know her dear Mama died a few years ago, but she is still in contact with Pa, and spends a couple of weeks with him each year.

Sorry dears, but just off to church. We have the gramaphone again as Beattie has done a bunk, I do hope the Reverend keeps turning the handle this week.

Anyway, I have done my bit to bring us up to scratch.

Where is Lesley by the way? I do hope she is well.

Susan dear, I was sorry to hear the news of your Mums little dog, as you may know we do not have pets but my SIL and Sister have dogs which love lots of hugs and fuss and give plenty in returrn. I am thier honary Auntie :-D sadly its the moggies I cannot go near for fear of the wheezing.

Goodness Auntie, the poor Captain, however please do not be too accommodating for the poor man may want to get his feet under the table.........Mrs Berries cooking is very good and I hear the Captains is not ;-) ;-) ;-) By the way Auntie, where is Pat rish aaaaaaaaa? I am a little concerned by her absence.
I have seen the tuk tuk. Its with that nice Mr Snow junior on a screening of the East India Company I am watching. I recorded it orf the beeb.i wonder if P is with him :-D

Bank holiday was here Auntie :-D :-D :-D, such a novelty to FTE and I who have worked many over the years between us ;-)

Talking of weddings, we were mentioning those were we not, well I noticed that the V&A have an exhibition of wedding dresses, some as old as Noah, its been touring I believe.

Did you mention..........................PINKY and PERKY.................sorry to shreak Ladies but a Lady I know was very scared of them when she was a very young fruit, the squeeky voices and scary dancing. Tis the stuff of nightmarish nights. That and those scary Darleks on the Fruits Nans black and white television...............................

is it safe to come out yet????????????????????????????????

Good evening ladies, I hope you are all well.

Oh dear Susan, I am very sad to hear that your Mama's doggy has passed away. Out doggies are our constant companions and never ask one for anything, apart from their food and drink, and they give so much in return.

I hope your Bank Holiday went well dears, I did laugh when everywhere on the radio and television they said that people were on holiday. I know quite a few people who were not!

I am sitting writing this with a shawl around my shoulders dears, tis a bit chilly still. Where, or where, is Summer?

Definitely Miffed

Pinky & Perky, now there is a blast from the past. :-)

Bully Beef sandwiches don't sound very tempting..... though I do like a bit of trifle.

Ladies, I had a ring from my Mama yesterday afternoon , she was very upset, she had just found her little dog dead. The pooch had taken herself away quietly and lay down behind a small garden wall. :-(. Poor little pooch. I know my Mama will miss her little mate dearly. <3.

Monday again here so that means off to work I go ... Short week as we are away Thursday/Friday to a conference. Yippeee.. I shall not conference, I shall shop and lunch and visit the hotel spa.... I wonder if there will be any shirtless chaps waiting to tend to me :-D.?

Well dinner last night was a riot! There was recriminations and double recriminations! Georgianna blamed Octavia, Octavia blamed me, and I blamed myself for being so stupid! How could we not see what was happening in front of our eyes?

Church this morning was a quiet affair, we had a wind-up gramaphone, and it kept running down. We sang v-e-r-y slowly indeed, and then speeded up to sound like Pinky and Perky. I do hope I have not lost you at that last remark! Not very successful indeed.

No-one has heard from either Beattie nor Millie, so we will let the dust settle until the cake is eaten, and the bills are paid. The Captain is beside himself, not only has he lorst his sweetheart, but also his beloved daughter. Oh what a tangled web we weave.

I have been visiting the Old Soldiers and Sailors Home this afternoon. Some voluteers have been collecting for them, and we had a bit of a blow-out this afternoon. Bully-beef sandwiches, pork pies and trifles. Jolly good wheeze.

Enjoy what is left of the Bank Holiday dears, Tuesday will come all too soon.

Good evening ladies. I shall not tarry too long, for I am to have dinner at Georgianna's very soon. Along with her dear husband, Octavia and her ever loving too.

We are still in a state of shock with Beattie, but Octavia is having none of it, mumbling something about 'close set eyes'.

Our biggest headache is who will we get now to play the organ at church, and the Centenary of WW1.

May I suggest dear ladies that we keep our arrangements to a more private forum dears, as we have the eyes of the world upon us. You know it makes sense.

I wish you all a very happy Bank Holiday, and wish the pooch a speedy recovery.

Hallo Elizabeth :-), wishing you a very happy and enjoyable bank holiday.

Ladies it is GCSE season, where did those last five years go???? FTY is in full revision mode with a little tutting and encouraging from his Mamma ;-) The devils x box is on reduced time :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

Goodness Auntie, what a sociable gal young Millie is. As you say, it must be the bonding of family ties etc. Maybe the captain could have a few rounds of golf with the chaps while they are away :-D I will avoid the cattery at all costs. Moggies give me a wheezy chest :-| :-| :-| Its a little delicate to go into the matter of your gentleman callers, I do hope they did not catch cold going out with out a vest. You do know that vests must be worn until the end of may doncha Auntie :-D

Susan I do hope your Mums little dog is on the mend. <3
The state visit is very near, yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
I too am toning ;-) I did smile about the goat. Our ducks are back :-)

Lesley, the Inn named after our future king is a nice venue........however if you have a tuk tuk I wonder if the newly refurbed Inn, along the road from the other teashop inn near your neck of the woods be an option, I saw on my way home from paid toil yesterday that it had reopened. it may be a bit "out in the woods" for the Ladies. What do you think :-) Hope all is well down your neck of the woods :-D :-D :-D

Well unpaid toil calls,

Good evening and apologies for my absence Ladies.

Lordy indeed Susan things are sounding decidedly steamy around here...massages with anything else offered :-0 :-0 :-0 and goats passing water on a cold morning ;-) ;-) ;-) to much information :-D

Teresa the 15th century (I believe) venue named after our future King sounds ideal :-) I have transport (tuk tuk) if extra is needed ;-)
