Julia. Don't worry about it. I have been RR'd twice in last 2 days, probably by same person. First one was not upheld and clearly reinstated. Both yours and mine will be reinstated, I feel sure. Only niggling doubt is that I cut and pasted initially from yahoo news blogs and that might be against rules on here.

Detective Did not realise that. That would make a lot of sense. I can imagine police and family would not be happy about speculation yet. But plenty on yahoo news and elsewhere. Newspapers far more restrained so far.

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 4 Oct 2012 10:23

Perhaps they know the family and were doing an internet search for more news?

This thread would come up if the little girl's name was entered on google and we all know that you don't have to be a member to Report

Julia Report 4 Oct 2012 10:18

Well, I truely do not know why my post should be RR'd.
I agreed with Marions post, and expressed that I was uncomfortable with the police interview. Island corrected me when I had assumed that the man present at the interview was April's step-father.
Now, what is wrong with that.
It is getting that people cannot post any comment, about anything, even when it is inoffensive.
Wonders why so many people do not want to be members on here anymore

PS. Perhaps the RR'er would like to identify themselves. Thinks not.
That a thread like this, should attract the RR'er, is totally appaling.

JustJohn Report 4 Oct 2012 10:10

I will ask questions again in hope I will not be RR'd. Perhaps some have been answered here or in press already.

1. Where is April's biological father?
2. Where is April's stepfather?
3. Did she get in Bridger's vehicle 2 days before abduction?
4. Where is Coral's mother?
5. Is Dai Smith either the father of April's stepfather or the husband of Coral's mother?

Kay????

Kay???? Report 4 Oct 2012 09:51

There is a misty feeling over this.

If that is a custody photo of this man then there isnt an air of confidence about him.

1+1= arent getting the right add up either.

hope that little babe is soon reunited with her family.

JustJohn Report 4 Oct 2012 09:47

Probably last post was asking too many questions, but would like the RR to tell me by pm why it was referred. Is it against rules to copy from yahoo news perhaps?

Would have immediately removed post myself if told I had done something wrong

Isalnd and Julia Just looked at a couple of posts on Yahoo news and they ask questions which I am sure need to be answered:

First Poster
1.where was the stepfather when the girl was abducted?
2.have the police search the girl's house yet?
3.is there any relationship between the girl and her real father?
4.where was the girl's real father at the time of abduction?
5.have the police carried out dna and forensic in the arrested suspect's van?
6.is there any sex offender or peodophiles living close to that area?

Second Poster
where is her biological father?......or patternal relatives? have they checked out her stepfather? more often than not these things always happen closer to home..........why did she go so willingly into a strange car if she didn't recognise the driver?

Also, one poster has suggested she got into Bridger's landrover 2 days earlier and DNA has therefore been compromised.

And is Dai Smith the second husband of Coral's mother? Or the father of April's stepfather?

Thanks Island for explaining that to me.

My heart goes out to the poor family
having spoken to some of the villagers on another site
they are all in shock they thought where they lived to be safe
its a quiet village where nothing ever happends
what that family must be going through
i cant even imagine :-D :-D

The man with the mother is Aprils grandad! Let's not get carried away.

Julia

Julia Report 4 Oct 2012 09:07

John, I just naturally took him to be the father. Perhaps an honest mistake on my part.

JustJohn Report 4 Oct 2012 09:03

Was that the father sitting next to the mother whilst she made her appeal? Agree as a very amateur psychologist that he acted very strangely if he was more than a neighbour of mother.

Note a lovely lady coming out of church was about to say "April's parents" on news this morning, then said "April's pair-family" :-S

Suppose all is completely irrelevant at moment. Priority is to find April today.

Edit. Sorry, just read that Coral Jones was accompanied by her step-father Dai Smith yesterday at Press Conference.

Julia Report 4 Oct 2012 08:42

I have been very wary about posting on this thread since it started as I do not want to cause offence,
I agree Marion, with your last sentence, entirely.
I was very unhappy when I viewed the appeal on television by the mother and father yesterday. Sent the hairs on end in my neck. I'm no pshycologist ,amateur or otherwise, but it did not bode well with me, and think the police will be rewinding this many times.
Don't understand the significance of not releasing the information for two days, that the little girl has Cerebal Palsey.
I'm just speaking from a concerned mother, grandmother, great grandmother point of view. Nothing more, nothing less.
I hope they find her safe and well, and soon

Poor little April on daily medication for celebral palsy. Also film taken of Bridger before arrest standing near the river. That was so swollen and fast on evening she was abducted.

We still must have hope. But no, not looking good at all and over 60 hours missing. On Radio Wales through day again today - main topic of conversation even here in Valleys (3 hours south) :-( Next Press Conference due 11am.

I hope she turn's up safe, but as time goes by it's not looking good.
I think there maybe a lot more to come out about this.

JustJohn Report 3 Oct 2012 08:36

No good news this morning, and police still searching specific areas round Machynlleth and questioning the suspect - whose photo is on front of most of papers today. A further press conference at 1pm.

Miracles can happen, and we must pray. Remember that little girl who was hidden away recently, but I fear this will not have any happy ending. Sister was on telly this morning having leafleted town last night, and they seem a very caring family who just cannot make sense of this at all.

Struggled to sleep last night. Does anybody remember Cannock Chase murders (or A34 muders) of late 1960's. Raymond Leslie Morris, a motor engineer from Walsall, was found guilty at Stafford assizes of one of the murders in 1968 (there were 6 in places along A34 and they stopped whne he was caught) and was sentenced to life imprisonment. He is still in prison over 40 years later and one of the country's longest serving prisoners.

One of little girls lived in Hollemeadow Avenue, Leamore (about a mile north of Morris who had a flat next to Walsall Police Station). She was abducted as she walked back to her mum alone from her gran's house 200 yards away and family was well known and respected locally. It devastated people, I still have deja vu moments when these things happen.
