Doh. I can't come either.

There is more rain up there and OH was delayed on the train last night because of a landslip between Horsham and Dorking.

It made me realize that I should take my caring responsibilities seriously smetimes,novelty indeed!

Should we have a power cut I need to be here because we have a hospital bed and a hoist and mattress that all need power and it is a days work to convince the social services that their alternative suggestions just will not work.

Let's hope we can meet up again in January,if it is not snowing!

I would have so loved to have met you, but I do understand. Wend thank you for offering to put Liz up. Still as I look around ready to set off to Gatwick I know my work here is not finished so who knows maybe January I will be doing a return trip !

Uzzi, and all, I hope you all have a lovely time and I know you will be raising a glass to our Dizzi, that she is soon well enough to get home and back on here too.

I am really disappointed to have to miss the meet, I had tried to arrange to be with you but really haven't the energy to travel such a long way despite Wend's kind invitation to stay overnight. Thought I could have done a Dutch on you Uzzi but not to be.
